How will you make a difference?
As a member of the Global Operations Equipment group, you will be responsible for ideation, design, implementation of critical strategic initiatives. We have three production facilities located here in Fort Worth. You will help bring a strong focus to continuously improving both our team and our processes.
What do we want to know about you?
will lead the Fulfillment Team in all material delivery needs. In this role you will drive to improve supplier OTD%, Material Availability by reducing Overdue and Late POs, and be responsible for overall PO management. The Fulfillment Leader will drive to maintain on-hand inventory to levels consistent with business objectives, coordinate defective material returns to suppliers, and reduce premium transportation costs. In this role you will use your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and effect short-term and long-term business goals.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or minimum of 4 years of experience in a Production Planning, Production Control, Sourcing, Configuration Control, Inventory Control, or Logistics role
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Purchasing / Materials
- Speak proficient English
- Experience in Fulfillment / Purchasing and writing fulfillment reports using MS Access, SQL, or Visual Basic
- Experience with Oracle 11.3, AP systems, and CAS
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a lean environment
- PC and database proficiency
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Six Sigma training or equivalent Quality Certification
What will your typical day look like?
- Manage all VMI & Supermarket parts at TXL
- Respond to VMI & Supermarket parts shortages
- Monthly review of EZDI Material
- Responsible for VMI & Supermarket physical inventory prep and execution
- Identify and execute VMI & Supermarket growth opportunities & projects
- Work with finance on VMI/SM write-offs
- Set up parts within Org
- Manage order quantities for Supermarket parts
- Maintain material levels within entitlement range
- Maintain VMI material health and scan to delivery metrics
- Manage Supermarket Saturation
- VMI & Supermarket additions/removals
- Oracle expertise to assist in cont. improvement and risk assessment reporting

- Exposure to shop floor requires wearing PPE
- Walking, climbing, stooping, stooping, bending, lifting is all part of the hands on learning process
