Global Commodity Director Fuel Systems

Lead the development and management of global/regional purchasing strategies for Plastic Injection Molding designed to leverage the Business Unit's collective purchasing power and maximize synergistic opportunities to optimize supplier performance, reduced total supply costs while meeting our technology expectations throughout the supply chain.
Ensure purchasing deliverables meet designed strategies.
Negotiate key supplier contracts.
Provide global leadership in the communication, implementation, coordination, and enforcement of purchasing strategies
- Own the strategies for their respective commodity group
- Lead the development of Commodity Managers in their team
- Coach / Mentor commodity managers to improve efficiency / effectiveness
- Provide inputs on department structure, organization, priorities and expected results to VP GSM
- Lead high impact initiatives or negotiations
- Monitor KPIs and adjust plans accordingly to meet or exceeds targets and report out
- Strategic mindset and the ability to break strategy down into actionable steps
- A seasoned, inspiring, charismatic leader with highly collaborative attitude
- Organizational savvy, skilled in intercultural relations
- Excellent in stakeholder management
- Manages talent within team including conducting performance review
