What the role is
The Housekeeper common areas will ensure clean and orderly of the common areas regarding the housekeeping service and laundry.
Report all damaged or missing things on hotel, extend professionalism and courtesy to staff.
**What you will be doing**
- Responsible for the cleaning of the public and recreational areas of the hotel; interior and exterior.
(Common kitchen, cinema, coo-work, library, corridors, reception, lobby, F&B areas, bathrooms, offices, rooms, hotel entrance, etc..)
- Synergy on the day-to-day operations with Handyman and
Cleaning.
Coordinating between them any activity or daily
change.
- Responsible for ensuring that all areas are in perfect order and clean, ensure all equipment works properly.
- Take responsibility for having the areas in a perfect state of maintenance, making written reports.
- Train all Cleaning new staff.
- Notify Operation Manager each week or each fifteen days about supplies that are needed (inventory) to order it.
- Provide supplies and cleaning supplies to housekeepers
- Make requisitions of materials and supplies to the warehouse.
- Keep under your responsibility part of the equipment of your department.
- Supervise the work done in the laundry
- Collaborate in the lifting of inventories.
- Verify the proper use of chemical products according to safety and hygiene standards.
- Participate in the preparation of the cleaning plan for hotel areas.
- Control of the clothes or linens of the hotel with the housekeeper supervisor
- Continuous feedback of improvements in the work area
**What you need for the role**
- 1-2 years of experience in similar roles
- Organized and responsible person.
- Cleaning and organize spaces ability.
- Good attitude.
