Make it your story.This position reports toHR Operations Team LeadYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role you will have the opportunity to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing within the organization.
Each day, you will perform key responsibilities including maintaining employee records, calculating wages, processing payroll deductions, issuing payments, and handling post-payroll activities such as tax reporting and benefits contributions (IMSS, ISN, Fonacot, Severance payments, audits, etc.).
The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid.
This role contributes to the HR Operational Services division in San Luis Potosi, S.L.P.
You will be mainly accountable for:Payroll process and post-payroll activities (IMSS, ISN, Fonacot, Severance payments, audits, etc.
)Maintain and update employee records including personal details, job titles, salary information, and tax withholdingsCalculate employee wages, including gross pay, overtime, bonuses, and commissionsAccurately calculate and deduct federal, state, and local taxes, social security, Medicare, retirement plan contributions, health insurance premiums, and other deductionsManage the company's contributions to IMSS for social security benefits.
Ensure accurate calculation and timely submission of contributionsCalculate and remit state payroll taxes based on total employee compensation.
Ensure compliance with varying state tax rates and regulationsAdminister employer contributions to Fonacot, facilitating employee access to housing loans and benefitsProcess severance payments in accordance with local labor laws and company policies, ensuring accuracy and complianceConduct internal audits and prepare for external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations
