The Impo Expo / Logistics Analyst - Mexico
**Will be responsible for**:
1.Coordination of shipments of Raw Material, Finished Goods, and Equipment between San Diego, Mexico, and Texas
2.This role is responsible for all documentation needed to complete imports and exports related to inbound and outbound shipments for Vapotherm's Plant in Tijuana, VapoMex.
3.This role will create and maintain all reports and transactions for Rule 8, Scrap, Freight and Viant Epicor Transactions.
4.The role collaborates with leadership and stakeholders to develop VapoMex freight cost and import/export cost metrics.
5.This role requires written and verbal fluency in Spanish and English.
Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management,
Engineering or related field
4+ years of experience in the medical device logistics and distribution and/or
Military Logistics Experience
- Fluency in English - both written and verbal
- Experience negotiating freight contracts and spot rates
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing,
- Excellent organizational skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to function well in a team
environment.
- Trained in LEAN principles a plus
- Experience in a medical device environment with knowledge of ISO 13485, GMP, and FDA regulations.
