Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving the manufacturing process, ensuring technical availability of equipment in all shifts. Fulfill Value Stream KPI's: IDC, FOR, Technical Downtime.Responsible for defining, implementing, maintaining, and improving the mechanical assembly process required for product manufacturing, including but not limited to PLC & Controls, robotics, mechanical design, and assembly analysis, while keeping the process under control according to process parameters.Responsible for fixtures, tools, and molds: Design, fabrication, acceptance validation, release, and implementation in the production process.Define process parameters according to DMD, VVT, DI, etc.Validate NPI by establishing process parameters, mechanical dimensions, and production release.Train technicians on process, machine configuration, and process parameters.Some processes associated with a mechanical engineer include: PCB Router (Milling process), Presses, screwing stations, Ovens, clinching, manual assembly, etc. Pin insertion, Welding, chemical dispensing.Minimum Requirements:GDT certificationExperience (3-5 years) as a mechanical process or maintenance engineerPLC programming is a plus: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Micrologix.Knowledge in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systemsDesign CAD: SolidWorks or other mechanical design softwareDesign electromechanical systems for automation or control of manufacturing equipmentEngineering degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial or Systems Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or ElectromechanicalIntermediate English proficiency#J-18808-Ljbffr
