**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating welding inspection activities for the project
- Ensuring compliance of welding inspection activities with applicable codes, standards, and Kiewit specifications
- Maintaining and updating the welding inspection plan and inspection checklist
- Reviewing and approving the qualifications of welding personnel
- Verifying that welders and welding operators have the necessary qualifications
- Recommending corrective actions in case of non-conformances
- Coordinating with the project team and construction managers to address welding issues

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of welding inspection experience
- Knowledge of welding codes and standards such as AWS D1.1 and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and NACE Certification
- Experience in supervising and coordinating the work of inspectors
- Knowledge of welding processes and welding metallurgy
- Ability to read and interpret welding drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong english skills.
