**Title**: Instrumentation Design PV&V Engineer
**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León JD Shared Svcs-Monterrey
**Function**: Engineering (CA)
**Major purpose**:
Performs product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project.
Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews.
Develops recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Design instrumentation for physical quantities measurement (load, pressure, strain, etc.).
- 3D modeling and 2D drawings of testing fixtures & high cycle testing components.
- Measured data analysis.
- Mechanical evaluation of structures.
- Interpretation of FEA reports and correlation with measured data.
- Test fixtures integration with other subsystems or tooling equipment.
Support test fixtures implementations on-site when required.
**What Skills You Need**:
- Strong communication skills in English (speaking & writing).
- Strong mechanical engineering principles (mechanics of materials, statics, dynamics, etc.).
- 3D CAD software experience (CREO Preferred).
- 2D drawings experience.
- Familiar with manufacturing process for sheet metal, welding and assembly.
- Willing to travel.
**What Makes You Stand Out**:
- FEA experience.
- Physical testing (PV&V) experience.
- Hands-on experience in Mechanical Design projects.
- Familiar with eDAQ.
- Familiar with CREO Parametric and PDM/Windchill.
- Masters in Mechanical Engineering.
**Education (or equivalent experience)**:
- Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Engineering degree (Physics, Automotive Design, Mechatronics, Aeronautic, etc.
