Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Intercompany Analyst.
**What you'll do**:
**Job summary**
Manage the Intercompany and fixed asset transactions for the SAP sites in conjuction with the Plant personel to ensure the booking of the correct invoices and obtained the final balance, prepare the Balance Sheet Reconciliations and prepare the Month end close for this accounts. Give support to the compliance of Electronic Accounting Process.
**Job responsibilities**
1. General accounting procedures and perform the monthly closing process for Intercompany balances and Fixed Assets for the SAP Sites.
2. Post Accruals for Intercompany recorded on SAP
4. Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations every month for Intercompany and Fixed assets Accounts
5. Monitore the SAP sites the correct balance with the partners and follow up the variances found it.
6. Elaborate the invoices for intercompanies movements and partner in some ledgers
7. Post the journal and make the invoices for interest movements to intercompanies.
8. Run the fixed assets depreciation process and report
9. Creation of internal order and some times the capitalization for the projects
10. Support and/or lead department activities related to process improvements and standard work.
11. Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and GFSS goals. Support site, functional or corporate initiatives.
12. Collaborate with the Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits for the sites and activities under the scope.
13. Other activities assigned by supervisor or special requirements from management or company.
14. Maintain safe, clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards, Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements to help build a Zero Incident Culture.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor degree necessary
- 2 - 3 years of experience in finance/ accounting and auditing within a Big 4 Firm or in a multinational company- Knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting requirements essential; sound understanding of Tax regulation
- Exposure to US GAAP / MEX GAAP reporting requirements
- Knowledge of data processing in respect of financial systems and multiple ERP system SAP
- Strong PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word) required
- Intercompany balances and fixed assets process understanding
- Communication skills and team work capability
- Ability to operate and deliver independently without day to day supervision
