**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the organization's vision and strategic direction. You will be responsible for administration, management, and optimization of Business-facing services related to License Servers Support and SMTP/RedHat architecture and infrastructure. You will be accountable and play support technical role for all the areas associated with respective hosting services. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the ABB IS Services based out in Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for: - Technical Support Groups supporting and supervising, both internal and vendor and cooperating with involved teams to ensure compliance, optimal performance and services availability. - Providing technical support to remediate issues impacting your services, resolve conflicts and ensure mínimal downtime. - Creation and maintaining of documentation related to system configurations, operational procedures and contingency plans for responsible services. - Reviewing SLAs and service metrics to monitor quality of your Ser-vices and initiating improvement actions to reach service level targets and necessary improvements. - Ensuring that your assigned services are compliant with IS policies, compliance, architecture standards and any other applicable ABB Group Di-rectives and ABB Group Guidelines. - Maintaining constant dialogue with ABB Information Security, ABB Compliance and ABB Hosting teams to ensure services are fit for customer needs without compromising security as well as with other service managers and IS domains functions to ensure alignment and integration with global IS domain strategy. - Supporting major incident and critical situation resolution along with consulting and providing input for any incident, change or project which has, or might have, a major impact on SOX servers security or associated solutions.
**Qualifications for the role**:
- Above 5 years of systems administration experience within the relevant IT domain (ideally, with Service management experience).
- Experience with License Servers Support technologies and tools as FlexNet and proficiency in license server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- RedHat hands-on experience to be able to configure operating system, manage packages, managing disks and file systems and network manage-ment.
- Experience and ability to quickly diagnose system and network issues and drive them to resolution.
- Knowledge of key mechanisms of TCP/IP networking, routing, ad-dress translation, VLAN, DNS, Firewalls and VPNs.
- Ability to write scripts in Bash, Python or Perl to automate routine administrative tasks is good-to-have..
- Fluent spoken and written English, good communication skill.
- Certifications such as RHCSA and RHCE are good-to-have, Knowledge on ITIL process and IT service management is a plus.
