Position Summary
We are seeking dynamic leadership to build, develop and manage the technical talent that will enable Technology Services to deliver on F5's strategic missions and promises. Your product is the talent that will drive our company forward.
In this role you will lead a team focusing on ensuring that our engineering delivery teams have the right people in the right places, building for future needs, and fostering new skills in sync with business needs. You will partner with key stakeholders throughout the organization to drive business growth and cultivate a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and ongoing improvement.
What you'll do
Design and execute strategies to support career growth, including training programs, mentorship initiatives, development plans, goal setting and performance feedback mechanisms.
Align with solution owners, value stream leads and leadership to ensure workstream talent needs are addressed and proactively planned for.
Conduct regular talent management practices, leaning into the continuous development of employees' skills, interests, and aspirations to identify opportunities for advancement.
Create a positive and supportive learning-oriented environment that encourages employees to develop new skills, acquire knowledge, and explore career pathways.
Promote knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration among team members to enhance their professional development.
Regularly analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to enhance the career development framework.
Foster an innovation culture by encouraging and supporting new ideas, providing opportunities for experimentation and learning, and recognizing and rewarding creativity and innovation.
Being a champion and advocate for engineering excellence and ensuring that the standards, guidance, and ways of working are adopted and adhered to.
Leverage your partnership with our Talent Acquisition capability to attract and hire well qualified and talented employees.
Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.

What you'll bring
Demonstrated experience, building and leading technical teams.
Showcase excellent social, planning, documentation, and organization skills.
Generalized knowledge of financial applications, Workday or ServiceNow platforms a plus.
Use of ITSM standards and standard methodology for implementation in an IT environment.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and inspire teams.
Excellent communication (fluency in English language) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with solution owners, engineering directors and other key stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Has strong understanding of software development life cycle, lean agile principles.
Willingness to handle global teams and cross geography reporting teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering, or equivalent software engineering work experience.
8+ years IT management experience required.
No restrictions on the ability to travel to domestic & international locations.
