We are looking for a **Java Developer with Capital Market**
**Working Model: Hybrid**
**Core JAVA: Primary Responsibilities**:
- Design & development of the firm's proprietary, high-performance FI E-Trading platform encompassing fixed income all products (Credits/Rates)
- Understand RUN, Axes, and RFQs workflow for Dealer to Client markets such as MarketAxess, TradeWeb, and Bloomberg.
- Drive implementation and design with emphasis on high availability, scalability and reusability
- Work with other Fixed Income front office team lead to promote framework reusability across all business
- Champion best practice software development life cycle with an emphasis in test-driven coding methodology
- Balance time to market (client delivery) with proper governance, compliance, and audit mandates
- Mentor junior developer
**Education**
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related
**Required Background**:
- 5+ years of financial service experience
- Able to communicate effectively with the desk.
- Strong design, coding, testing, and debugging skills
- Strong experience in front-office trading system with an emphasis in E-Trading
**-* **Programming Languages - Java (10+ years), Javascript, C# a plus.*
- Must have general Fixed Income Pricing and Analytic knowledge
- Must have strong multithreaded programming experience
- Must have knowledge of Client Markets MarketAxess, Bloomberg, TradeWeb
- Must have knowledge of Credit Buy-Side/Sell-Side market structure
- Knowledge of FIX protocol a plus
- Knowledge of ION or Broadway API a plus
- Knowledge of KDB/Q a plus
