We take pride in working close to the cause, opening the locks to save lives, ultimately making a massive difference to the outside world._**What you'll do**- Provide DevOps support to R&D IT portfolio.- Deliver cost effective solutions to support DevOps and Cloud activities- Test and quality assess new D&A solutions, to ensure they are fit for release: code assurance, Unit and System Integration Testing, Data testing, release management control and support of UAT processes**Essential for the role**- Hands-on programming experience in Core Java, Java Spring MVC, Microservices with Spring Boot, Vaadin Framework- Hands-on experience designing available, cost-efficient, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed systems on AWS- Familiar with Agile project delivery methodology (Jira board)- Expertise with tools like Docker, Jenkins/CICD.- Knowledge in Unix Shell Scripting/SQL/ Oracle**Desirable for the role**- Experience in Rclone, Object Storage (Swiftstack Client)- Experience in DevOps, using continuous integration, continuous development and continuous integration tools (e.G.
