Your 'day to day' Member of the Project Management Office (PMO), the projects' enabler and the information hub for projects and programs in the affiliate.
Actively contribute to the PMO core activities:
Project Prioritization, Governance, and Sharing. Favor and foster adoption of a project management approach within the affiliate by:
Working closely with MD, HoF, HoF-1 & Project owners to prioritize projects and ensure proper information sharing on project status & deliverables; Preparing timely analyses allowing project assessment and governance; Comparing, clustering and supporting prioritization of projects based – among others – on the consumer journey; Taking care of information sharing & knowledge management derived out of projects throughout the whole organization. Principal Accountabilities PMO STRATEGY: Support Head of PMO in defining strategy and doing project planning exercises to optimize commercial projects planning & prioritization, their alignment to business objectives, resource management, and project management capabilities, while linking execution to strategy. PROJECT BUSINESS CASES & PROJECT ASSESSMENT (MAPPING & PRIORITIZATION): Take part in acting as a bridge between the Management Team and Commercial Planning/Project Owners on the Business Cases process; actively contribute to the Business Case definition (scope, goals, deliverables, costs, timescales, plans, dependencies, resource requirements, and milestones), ahead of the project approval. PROJECT GOVERNANCE, MONITORING, CLOSING & REPORTING: Support project owners on set-up of project plan and definition of milestones. Manage interdependencies and coordination across cross-functional projects. Ensure project plans are created and constantly updated, deliverables are tracked with related time, resource, and cost impacts. Establish solid and smooth reporting practices. Ensure measurement and reporting of project achievements (KPIs) is done after project closing. Ensure in-time reporting/handling of PMI requests on projects, both from Finance as well as Commercial side. KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT & INFORMATION SHARING: Build and manage the "Project Management Learning repository." Guarantee the results are periodically shared with management, showing comparison with expectations and best practices. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Build trustworthy relationships with project owners, sponsors, management team, the wider finance community, and PMI Central Functions. LEAD BY EXAMPLE / PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT: Be an ambassador of Project Management within the organization; ensure a structured, process- and planning-oriented business approach is adopted in every task and be the go-to person for all questions on this topic.
