Junior Marine Operations Manager

On behalf of one of our key clients, we're looking for a Junior Marine Operations Manager. The company is involved in offshore construction projects all around the world such as subsea cable installations, offshore surveys, optic fibre maintenance etc.**Responsibilities**- Ensure all related processes/tasks regarding the operation department are in line with the company policies and procedures- Manage all fleet vessels in the most cost effective way, while ensuring the highest quality.- Being involved in the analysis and monitoring of operational data to ensure potential problems are averted.- Provide advice to ships and management on cargo requirements, tank cleaning, stability and stress and to maintain all statutory requirements for the ship in this field. He/She will also be required to analyse operational data to help improve inefficiencies and to predict operational problems.- Oversee the implementation of workflow improvements that may enhance customers' satisfaction, as well as optimise the use of the organisation's resources.- All operations needs to be in line with the company policies, maritime rules and regulations and industry standards- Responsible for updating vessels in view of calling ports as per company port screening procedure.**Requirements**:- A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organisation within a relevant field.- Strong understanding of Marine & Offshore business.- Strong team spirit and cooperation skills to promote a team working environment.- Proven ability to effectively manage and implement change.- Flexibility and willingness to adapt responsibilities and to take on new challenges as the role develops.
