Working as part of a cross-functional team you lead the RDQ activities required to complete new product development and maintain portfolios and/or productivity projects keeping in mind the goal to deliver the desired consumer experience.
**How you will contribute**
You will work independently to plan, lead and coordinate technical projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements You will effectively communicate status and risks and plan, lead and coordinate pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In addition, you will plan, lead and coordinate development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation. etc.). To provide direction for product development, you will use digital simulation models to obtain, understand and interpret consumer insights and commercial information. In this role, you will create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications and be responsible for stakeholder management and influencing decisions based on conclusions made from analysis and interpretation of results.

The LA Pipeline position lead the Productivity Pipeline development agenda for Raw and packaging materials at the Latin America region to assure sufficiency vs. the regional productivity SP target expectation (around 105 MM for 3 years) To build a strong pipeline, the position uses available MDLZ tools but also connect with potential partners to bring an external view in. Work in partnership with LA Region categories, procurement, supply chain and Marketing to delivery Region / BU's productivity targets. Position connects with other Regions to understand and share best practices, developing a strong network with the global productivity community.
Role accountabilities:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners (Procurement, Category RDQ teams, Platform Productivity teams, Supply Chain) to define areas of opportunity for ideation.
- Influence the organization to sponsor ideation/pipeline building events
- Identify and build strong partnership with external companies/partners to leverage outside capabilities.
- Bring creative approaches and trends to help identify new opportunities.
- Coordinate with facilitators / topic owners / sponsors to plan the ideation sessions.
- Develop a database of ideation output and feed the global ideas tracker.
- Coordinate scoping / landing of ideation output for inclusion of the idea into VOLT.
- Link closely with RDQ Spend Area Leads and Categories to transfer ideas to the spend area /categories 4-2-1's.
- Share monthly R&P pipeline reports within the Central Productivity team and with the R&D Category /Productivity leads.
- Develop new capability in Ideation tools, pipeline filling WoW and governance, as part of the Global Pipeline Community of Practice.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree
- Major: Food Science, Chemical Engineering or any area related to R&D.
- Years of experience in RDQ or related supply chain function - 5 years minimum.
- Solid experience with commercialization, project timelines, savings estimates, and the I2M process.
- Experience with consumer /product testing protocol.
- Facilitation experience in ideation methodologies (desirable)

- Able to work across categories, cultures and the enterprise.
- Solid technical foundation with a background in multiple categories if possible
- Basic Project management skills
- Understanding of Process Linkages across the technical community and Supply Chain
