Subject matter expert in measuring and optimizing frontend performance on e-commerce websites to improve ease of use (usability) and create the best user experience by exploring many different approaches to solve end-users' problems.
Most important job responsibilities for this specific position:
- Collaborating with Product Managers and developers to understand our product strategy & implement innovative consumer experiences.
- Perform consumer behavior analysis/research to construct user journeys.
- Lead frontend performance optimization initiatives and provide expertise on Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals.
- Contribute on design systems & style guides adhering to WCAG standards.
- Develop wireframes & prototypes; conduct user testing & continuously iterate on these designs to make increasingly effective solutions.
- Coordination with development team to implement designs.

Technical experience required:
- Ability to design UX themes for specifically for DTC Ecommerce sites hosted on the Adobe Commerce (Magento) and Shopify platforms.
- Expert with UX design tools (like Adobe and Figma)
- Ability to construct design systems & style guides leveraging CSS framework like Tailwinds.
- Understands and embraces the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to make websites, apps, and digital assets accessible to people with disabilities.
- Proven experience with Mobile-first and responsive design methodologies, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals.
Technical experience nice to have:
