**Job Summary**:
- Deploy formal project management to define, scope, plan, execute, and commission new machinery, equipment, and modifications.
- Lead Capital and Fabrication team to manage and drive equipment projects to completion.
- Furnish custom specialized replacement parts in support of machine & equipment maintenance, product development, and process improvements.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Inventory Control, and Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) teams to assist when fabrication and equipment experience is required.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Taking the lead on collaborative machinery design, including parts and assemblies in the development of new machinery.
- Preparing blueprints, Bills of Material (BOMs), schedules and other project documentation for tools fabrication.
- Scheduling/prioritizing multiple projects and fabrication activities to support operations team.
- Developing and maintaining prioritized schedules to communicate status of design, fabrication, procurement, and installation activities.
- Working with internal and external suppliers to marshal components and materials required for equipment builds and enhancements.
- Drafting Scopes of Work for internal and external service providers.
- Working with Inventory Control function to manage production of internally fabricated spare parts.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
- MUST be able to work independently to deploy team projects and activities tactically within agreed guidelines and little supervision.
- MUST have extensive experience in designing precision machinery and complex electromechanical assemblies
- MUST have proficiency with managing projects, and deploy formal and informal tools and methods to drive projects to successful completion
- MUST possess communication skills essential to translate customer requirements into tangible equipment solutions that add intended value
**WE VALUE**
- Minimum: AS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Six-Sigma or Lean-Sigma certifications a plus.
- Must be able to demonstrate experience in manual tools.
- 3+ years in industrial Maintenance.
- 3+ years in manufacturing environment.
- Comfort with peer-level delegation and supervision.
- Comfortable with GT&D, Tolerance Stacking, and design for manufacturing.
- Ability to quickly learn & master technical information necessary for the successful completion of projects.
- Comfort with machine building, mechanical assembly, and precision alignment.
- Experience with traditional fabrication experience including, but not limited to, milling, turning, grinding, welding and drilling.
- Advanced fabrication experience including additive manufacturing and CNC Machining is a plus.
- Familiarity with installation techniques, construction codes and industry standards.
