Maintenance Engineer

**Position Title- Maintenance Engineer****Reports To: Business Unit Manager****Position Summary**: Responsible to support the business unit production and product launch efforts in meeting customer's requirements for precisely fabricated and assembly components.
Including production machines, tooling, maintenance and solutions to fabrication and assembly problems.
**Essential Job Functions**:- Design, modify and maintenance of machines, tooling and control systems used to manufacture components and assemblies for customers.- Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance and set-ups activities and their effectiveness metrics.- Set up new equipment, evaluate cell layouts, ensure satisfactory operation and instruct production cell employee on equipment operation.- Assist company's efforts involving equipment guarding and error proofing equipment process- Participate in the production metrics and performance to meet the operation goals.- Interprets blueprints, dimensional requirements to perform measurements as required utilizing micrometer, caliper, height gage, optical comparator, and other measurement devices and quality testing equipment.- PC proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.- Visits suppliers as required, travels domestically and internationally > 25%**Job Qualification Requirements**:Technical degree is preferred.
3-5 years of experience in /Engineering/Manufacturing required.Electrical, pneumatic, electronic, robotic, plcMIG welding knowledgeGeneral understanding of metal working processes
