**Summary/Objective**The Maintenance Manager will lead and oversee mechanics onsite for all maintenance and repairs of plant machinery.
**Essential Functions**
- Hires and trains maintenance department staff.
- Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
- Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
- Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.
- Develops maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
**Competencies**
- Instrumentation, installation/removal and or calibration
- Motor installations/removals and or adjustments/alignments
- Must have a sound working knowledge of all shop equipment
- Must be able to read, interpret and work from electrical drawings
- Experience with pneumatic systems
- Able to use an electrical meter
- Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan maintenance schedules
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
**Preferred Education and Experience**
- Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
- +5 years of experience in Maintenance
- Bilingual 90%
- Hands on person
- Manufacturing experienc
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per year
