GENERAL SUMMARY
Manage maintenance and plant engineering department to maintain the infrastructure facilities, and production equipment for manufacturing operations according to regulations and standards, also, manage the department's budget for OPEX and Capex
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in engineering related to, Mechanic, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial, Civil, etc.
Or equivalent experience in the field (Electrical engineer Prefered)
Minimum of 4 years' experience in maintenance management or general supervision
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Bilingual 80%
Knowledge of office Suite, e.g.
Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.
CAD drawing (Autocad)
Budget preparation and administration of resources
Knowledge of project management
Knowledge in Six Sigma approach and lean tools related to maintenance
Desired experience with SAP and CMMS software
Knowledge of codes and regulations related to the field, e.g.
STPS, SEDE, NFPA, IESNA, etc.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
Facility and land, landscaping
Fire protection systems, according to NFPA, FM, UL, NEC and STPS Standards
HVAC Systems which includes dust collectors
Electric Distribution systems in low and medium tension and lighting systems according to NOM-001-SEDE, NOM-029-STPS, NOM-025-STPS >
Pneumatic generation and distribution systems
**Plumbing systems**: potable water, sewers, sanitary, natural gas, hydraulic, etc.
Production equipment
Maintenance of manufacturing tooling and fixtures (tool room)
Hoists, balancers and cranes
Lift trucks
**Maintenance Planning**:
Develop maintenance plans and procedures to ensure the proper maintenance of assets during their lifetime
Plant engineering
Develop and manage projects for new infrastructure and modifications required to support the continuity of productions operations, also, design the required installation of services for:
Electric, pneumatic, HVAC, etc.
according to codes and regulations
Coordinator of contractors
Supervise and coordinate the installation of production and building equipment
Measure and improve the usage of utilities through energy savings initiatives
Keep updated buildings technical drawings and legal drawings according to standards
Prevent and fix failures in the main distribution systems for building services (Electric, Pneumatic, fire, natural gas, etc.)
Maintain BRPMS tools, e.g.
TMP, 5's, GET, etc.
Develop master plans for the replacement or addition of infrastructure.
Lead and follow up audits such as insurance, OEA, CTPAT etc.
Knowledge on Mexican regulations related to the Building supplies.
Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their role in relation to the standard ISO9001: 2015.
Comply with safety rules according to the function.
Comply in time planned trainings related to Quality and Training.
Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
