.$ 70,000 a 80,000 MXN (Bruto)Position Purpose:We are looking for a motivated and creative leader to manage Petco's Store Network Engineering team, which is responsible for modernizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise networks and applications. This position is responsible for ensuring the uptime, availability, and scalability of our store networking infrastructure. This position will manage and lead a team of onshore and nearshore network engineers and technicians that supports critical infrastructure for our 1500+ stores. Will work cross-functionally with other internal organizations, including information security, e-commerce, core network engineering, store operations, facilities, DevOps, and more. Provides guidance, road maps, principles, standards, and best practices. Focused on enabling business and IT leaders to make investment decisions that balance and prioritize current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the longer-term strategic vision of the organization. Influences key business decisions.Essential Job Functions:The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.Serves as a thought leader in the network and telecom space, championing transformation initiatives to streamline and automate technology and leverage 3rd parties and vendors.Provide advanced technical leadership for complex project work, including functional subsystem upgrades for mission-critical network devices and services as well as strategic upgrades to the network.Establish requirements, provide analysis of network security risks and requirements, network design, network partitioning or segmentation, and network architecture definition.Develop and maintain 2 to 3-year strategic infrastructure plan including long-term vision, technology roadmaps, goals and objectives.Provide advanced expertise in the development of network test, validation, and integration plans on projects, and assurance of network integrity.Work independently with vendors to understand, test, and drive new innovative features.Defines goals, improves technologies, and resolves problems based on assigned directives.Ensures that quality objectives for the unit, as agreed to within service levels, are achieved.Manages team to ensure key business objectives or performance/service level objectives are met.Ensures reporting of key metrics for technical operations activities.Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.Follows processes and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Acts as advisor to team members to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.Oversees the prioritization of operational needs and requirements.Develops operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures.Involved with purchasing decisions, recommendations and budgeting.Leads Operational RCA and event management reporting
