The Amazon Mexico Retail team is seeking an experienced, data-driven Manager of Vendor Managers (MVM) to help us lead the Softlines category. As the MVM, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Softlines categories like Apparel.This role leads a high-performing team and will be responsible for driving both the top and bottom-line metrics for some of Softlines categories. The MVM will use a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as inventory management, marketing, merchandising, pricing, operations, and finance to drive the performance of these strategic category and vendor partners.Key job responsibilities- Setting goals, developing strategy, and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives- Negotiating direct relationships with top apparel brands to expand our product selection- Onboarding new vendors and brands to drive category growth- Partnering cross-functionally to deliver an exceptional customer experience that drives sales and profitability- Leading a high-performing team of vendor managers to achieve ambitious top and bottom-line goalsA day in the life- The MVM owns sales growth as well as profitability improvement.
