The Manufacturing Quality Sr. Engineer shall maintain the Quality level targets and implement the Quality improvement initiatives to ship defect free Products to the Customers. 
Responsibilities:
Responsible to manage the quality performance KPIs of the production evironment to ensure defect free products to Landis+Gyr customers aligned with on-time deliveryApply fundamental quality standards and procedures for processing materials into partially finished or finished products at the production environmentExecute continuous improvement/green belt inivitiatives through trend management methodology aligned to the Zero defect initiativeResponsible to assist with customer communication (root cause analysis, corrective actions and required certificates)Identify and communicate improvements early in the product development processMaintain, present, and act upon production environment quality metrics.Key Performance Indicators: Drive the production environment to achieve all relevant KPIs:First Pass Yield (FPY)PPM PerformanceCAPA TATManagement of Blocked Inventory DollarsComplete and timely PPAP execution/submissionAct as primary representative for all areas internal and external auditsNPI support through PPAP Quality Plan creation and executionCore Area of Responsibility/Accountability: Apply fundamental quality standards, procedures and follows Landis+Gyr policiesResponsible to drive the manufacturing production line to ensure capable processes and best in class results in Quality (production, product service center, reflash area, customer returns, etc.)Responsible to manage & report KPIs as requiredResponsible to perform all PPAPs on time according Project schedules and complete quality activities, including transfers to the manufacturing environmentParticipate as technical reosurce for supplier transfers as necessaryExecute the Zero defects initiative by implementing corrective actions at the sourceApply fundamental statistical tools and techniques in quality control and reliability activitiesLead and Participate in Quality internal/external Audits and manage findings/observations to closureResponsible for identifying opportunities and implementing poka-yokes in the processLead cross-functional Trend Management efforts to address top production defects issues through on-goign continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, Siz-Sigma, Lean, etc.Resolve and communciate customer quality issues through root cause analysis methodologyDevelop plans and manage Green Belt level quality process continuous improvement activitiesDrive/Lead CAPAs or Six Sigma Projects to closure as required (Trend Management, customer complaints, etc)Maintain all applicable testers to support qualiy processes as requiredLead/participate in final material dispositions to reduce inventoriesExecute tooling quality validations to achieve quality at the sourceExecute root cause analysis by using quality tools and techniques such as PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, DMAIC, Six Sigma, pareto analysis, Ishikawa diagrams, Cpk, SPC, and 8D/SCAR/CAPAResposible to review and approve ECOs/Dev as requiredWork seamlessly across applicable departments to ensure full visibility of process and potential critical issues and drive effrective solutions, if needed trigger escalation processSupervise and train personnel as requiredActively lead/participate in meetings as requiredAny other specific work activity that the manager determines as necessaryWork according to the I.M.S. (Integrated Management System) which includes ISO 9k, 45k, 14k, 27k, and 22301Required Experience: Required minimum years of experience: 3 yearsRequired minimum Level of Education: Bachelor Degree Mecatronic/Electrical Engineering (desired) or equivalent/similar to Electrical/Industrial/Mechanic Engineer or equivalent.Capable of reading and uderstanding technical documentsStrong understanding of statistics as related to manufacturing process control; Control Charts, Cpk, SPC, Mini Tab 6-packStrong Manufacturing experience in Lean, Six-Sigma, DMAIC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, CAPAKnowledge of manufacturing process: PCBA, Molding, Stamping, Die Cast, assembly, testing, othersKnowledge of measurement tool and techniques (vernier, height gages, optical comparator, multimeter, LCR, gages, oscilloscope, CMM, 3DScan, etc)Knowledge and ability to perform root cause analysis at raw material, sub-assembly, assembly levels for Mechanical/electrical productsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet timelinesStrong problem solving skills and ability to drive to final resolutionCapable of using Microsoft Office and Mini TabGD&T/IPC-A-610 as applicableESD ControlSAP or equivalent ERP SystemAuditorSelf-Starter - Ability to work independentlyProactiveLeadershipExcellent spoken and written communicationRequired Skills: Communicating EffectivelyProblem Solving and Making DecisionsLeadershipQuality ManagementAnalytical Methods #LI-LL1
