Job Summary:The Master Planner is responsible for overseeing all aspects of material planning to support the organization's production and operational goals.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.Key Responsibilities:1.
Material Planning:Develop and implement material planning strategies to optimize inventory levels while meeting production schedules and customer demand.Analyze demand forecasts, sales orders, and production schedules to determine material requirements and ensure timely procurement.2.
Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate with production, sales, engineering, and finance teams to align material planning strategies with overall business objectives.Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate material availability, constraints, and potential risks.3.
Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the materials planning function.Implement best practices and tools for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier management.4.
Customer Service Management:Ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty and contributes to achieving customer service rate targets within the Supply Chain process.Acts as an essential interface between sales, logistics, supply chain, and the rest of organization.Respond to customer inquiries on a regular basis.Receive and implement customer feedback to improve the quality of service.Manage daily progress in meeting important business metrics.Generate detailed reports on customer interactions. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
Advanced English (Must)Proven experience in materials planning, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., D365, Oracle) and planning software.Working Conditions:The role may require occasional travel to other sites or distribution centers.Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends to meet deadlines or address urgent issues.
