Descripción y detalle de las actividadesPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - Must be able to verify, record, and route incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Performs shipping function, which includes product verification, packing, labelling, KBM staging, and freight preparation.
- Releases shipments daily using KBM.
- Ensure control of inventory by completing accurate transactions.
Lock up the cage during non-work hours.
- Requisition and maintain the inventory of supplies for materials control.
- Update File-Maker Pro, MasterControl, and KBM accurately, in a timely manner.
- Spool wire or re-spool as required.
- Map sheet raw material for water jet cutting.
- Release work orders for the Sheet Department.
- Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition including organization of equipment and supplies according to 5S requirements.
Dock cleanliness is especially critical.
- Participate in Safety Committee meetings if required.
- Responsible for security at the shipping receiving area.
Need to adhere to site Security Regulations by keeping doors secured and locked.
- Ability to use a forklift and pallet jack is essential.
- Understand and use ISO 9001, ISO 14001 Management System.
- Ability to use third-party portal such as FedEx.
