MATERIALS SUPERVISOR
Planta Silao, Guanajuato

**JOB SUMMARY**:
Material Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and expediting flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities, and compiles and maintain records.
Review production schedules and related information and confer with customer and plant leadership to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure all Forklift Operators and Dock Leaders in their crew maintain a safe culture.
- Ensure that all internal and external (customer) systems are followed for all material activities.
- Monitor inventory levels using MGO, min/max and customer systems to ensure there are no interruptions to production activities.
- Request materials for critical window compliance
- Material oversea delivery planning receipts.
- Ensuring material available in a timely manner for production line.
- Effectively communicate, work with Customer and Android team regarding material issues.
- Main link/contact between customer and Android: Face to customer.
- Support receiving, shipping and stocking activities to ensure on-time delivery of finished product
- Analyze and investigate material variations to identify the root cause and implement corrective actions.
- Perform inventory counts or other tasks as requested by the customer and internal financial entities.
- Identify and suggest areas for continual improvement within the plant (ie signage, layouts, systems, plant organization, etc.).
- Coordinate expedited shipments
- Coordinate receipts.
(ie tally sheets, receipt at MGO and issuance of CLIPS).
- Monitor and analyze OSR.
- KPI management and accomplishment.
- Attend audits by the customer or external.
- Perform internal audits as requested by the system or on a regular basis.
- Develop alerts to inform customer for a possible impact.
- Ability to work in a moving environment.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience and demonstrated success in Business, Materials Management or Supply Chain Mgt/Logistics
- Intermediate English preferred.

- Demonstrated and creative ability to solve problems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software, particularly MS Excel and use of spreadsheets for managing and analyzing data.
