Position Title: Transition Services Project Manager
Reports to Title: Sr Mgr, Transition Services

**Summary**:
The Transition Services Project Manager reports directly to the Senior Manager, HBP Transition Services. As a member of the Hershey Business Platforms (HBP) Service Delivery organization, this global role collaborates with Business Unit stakeholders, HBP Leadership, Service Delivery Leaders and Global Process Owners (GPO) to execute transitioning scope within the global Service Delivery network, based on the strategic vision of enterprise end-to-end process roadmap.
The Transition Services Project Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the seamless transition of processes and services to the HBP's Service Delivery organization. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless and efficient transitions, tasked with coordinating various teams, resources and activities, enabling the organization to meet its strategic objectives, while minimizing disruption to business operations.
This individual will be required to become familiar with the HBP overall vision and GPO strategic roadmap, providing day to day direction and leadership to project teams of internal HBP staff, external consulting partners and business unit representatives.
In accomplishing the above and in partnership with HBP Service Delivery, Process Optimization, internal and external partners and customers, the role will drive the integrated business units towards the GPO strategic vision.
**Major Duties/Responsibilities**:
**Transition Services** (60%)
Through collaboration with HBP leadership, Global Process Owners (GPO), and Business Unit stakeholders, lead the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of transitions, enabling the organization to meet its strategic objectives and operational efficiency goals.
- Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements aligned with project goals and objectives
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestone and resource requirements, aligned with project objectives, scope and deliverables
- Execute change management strategies to minimize disruption during transitions, including proactive stakeholder communication throughout the process
- Identify potential risks and issues related to transitions, and develop mitigation plans to address them effectively
- Ensure all transitions adhere to relevant Transition Program best practices, as well as regulatory and compliance requirements
- Evaluate the Transition Service Program and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
**Project Communication & Metrics **(30%)
Through collaboration with each project team, provides regular project updates to HBP Leadership and stakeholders:
- Provide regular, clear, concise project updates including status, risk identification and remediation plans, budget tracking, and resource capacity/constraints to HBP Leadership (VP, Directors), Steering Committees, and relevant stakeholders
- Provide communication and collaboration with HBP project team members, as well as cross-functional internal and external business partners to ensure successful and on-time project delivery
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transition projects and report progress to stakeholders
**Build Relationships** (10%)
- Through collaboration with each project team, Process Optimization, Process Automation and the HBP Project Management Office (PMO), identify continuous process and human experience improvement opportunities related to each project:
- Proven ability to establish collaborative relationships with Senior Leaders and key business stakeholders across The Hershey Company
- Build relationships with key stakeholders affected by the HBP project portfolio, as well as the HBP Leadership who support these business partners
- Embody Hershey Leadership behaviors, communicating clear and consistent messages, relying on data and facts to advocate a position or overcome objections
**Education**:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Engineering required
**Experience**:
- 5-7 years business experience
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in successfully delivering high quality solutions in high pressure, structured environments using standard project management techniques and disciplines; 7+ years preferred
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management; 7+ years preferred
- Proven experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects/areas of responsibility simultaneously
- Ability to liaise with senior level external supplier and internal stakeholder representatives in a rational and measured manner to communicate progress, issues, risks and solutions
