Today we have 270,000+ Microsoft 365 users who leverage Collaboration Solutions (OneDrive, SharePoint, Power Platform, Office Online Products, Teams etc).The Microsoft 365 engineer will need to have a deep understanding of the Power Platform and M365 ecosystems. Be analytical and a creative thinker to resolve challenges at hand and ones on the roadmap, have strong technical skills for scripting and automation to build in-house sustain processes. It will be one of 2 points of contact covering for the Americas timezone (From main capability center – Habitat) responsible to design, build, administer, architect, and govern Collaboration Solutions services, provide escalation support and deliver our current and future Microsoft 365 Offerings across our Global landscape. Some of the key areas of responsibilities will include Management, administration, Governance, capacity planning, licensing, cost optimization, Upgrades, maintenance, monitoring, security revisions, deployments, Permissions, and 3rd level support for issues/users. Act as recovery manager for Microsoft Cloud outages and perform change and problem management activities to ensure the service reliability.Microsoft 365 services include (but are not limited to):Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power Virtual Agents, Dataverse, Power Pages)Collaboration Solutions (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Forms, Planner, Loop etc.)Office applications – Integrations and capability release.Back-Office administration and cross-functional collaboration – M365 tenant managementAlso, the engineer will be accountable for non-Microsoft solutions (But approved PepsiCo alternatives) such as:SmartsheetMonday.comYour ImpactAs a GWS – Microsoft 365 - Collaboration Solutions Architect your scope would consist of:M365 Management/GovernanceAccountable to define best practices, policies and governance for M365, this includes permissions to M365 services, API access, Licensing, Security assessments, defining standards, defining processes etc.3rd party SaaS Solutions ManagementAccountable to define best practices, policies and governance for SaaS services, this includes permissions, API access, Licensing, Security assessments, defining standards, defining processes etc.ReportingAccountable to make sure reporting is available to all appropriate stakeholders on a daily and ad hoc basis. (Licensing, usage, storage, availability reports)Secure ScoreResponsible to work with the teams (security, CTO, email, Azure, etc.) ensuring a great score is achieved in M365 for the company. As well ensuring services are always protected and following best practices.Service ManagementAccountable to make sure tickets are processed in a timely manner. Both by collaborating with L2 support and handling escalation tickets.New Release/Change ManagementBeing consulted by S&T concerning new releases. Responsible to follow up with Microsoft on product roadmaps. Accountable to raise requests to block new functions in case of.Service AvailabilityResponsible to monitor the health and service availability throughout all M365 related products. Responsible to work with Microsoft on service availability concerns and coordinate resolution across multiple teams.QualificationsWho Are We Looking For?Experience4+ years technology experience in IT Operations roles4+ Years working with Microsoft 365 technologies.4+ Years of Active Directory/Azure4+ Years of 3rd level support4+ years of managing Vendor Managed Solutions/Services.4+ Years of Project ManagementTechnical skillsMCSA: Productivity and MCSE: Productivity are a plus.Good knowledge on Cloud-based services. (SaaS)Advanced understanding of Power PlatformGood understanding of SharePoint/OneDriveScripting/Automation (Graph API, Windows PowerShell)Good understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystemWorking on robust hybrid environmentsGood understanding of Active Directory, multi-domains, multi-forests, DNS infrastructure and topologyGood knowledge of computer infrastructure (hardware, databases, Operating Systems, LAN, WAN, etc.)Good working knowledge and experience with PowerShell ISE and other scripting languages, plus automating tasksGood understanding of ITIL processes and standards. Preferably ITIL certified.Advanced understanding of the function desktop/laptop/server and software.
