:) We are looking for a Middle Node.js Engineer in Guadalajara, Mexico What you will do Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js, ensuring they are scalable, robust, and user-friendly; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features; Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability; Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code and ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications; Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure they are functioning correctly; Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve our products and development processes.
Must haves 3+ years of proven experience as a Backend or Fullstack engineer with a strong portfolio of web applications; Proficiency in Node.js, with a deep understanding of their core principles and best practices; Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services; Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team; Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders; Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as Vue.js and React.js; Experience with Typescript; Knowledge of Ruby on Rails is preferred; Experience with AWS services, particularly those relevant to web development and deployment; Understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing; Background in financial services or industry-specific knowledge related to Bloomberg Industry Group's focus areas.
