We are the leaders in our market and are accelerating to extend our lead and move into new markets.**The Role****What will I be doing?**- Research and development new POS devices according to product requirements.- Develop software for those POS devices as is established in the purpose of the job.- Ensure security of all payment transactions, based on the best practices of development and in accordance with mandatory requirements. (PCI, LACPI and others).- Support merchants with production issues.- Develop new payment features.- Help other areas involved in the payment process to comply with the mandatory requirements.- Remote device troubleshooting, management and monitoring.- B.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience.- 2+ years experience developing software for any POS device. (Any language or OS).- 2+ years experience with EMV Standard. (EMV Books)- 2+ years experience with POS certifications (LACPI, AMEX, or others).- 2+ years of experience with Android software development Java or Kotlin. (Strongly recommended).- 1+ years of experience Unix OS.- Proficient knowledge of EMV standard (ICC and Contactless).- Proficient knowledge of payment transaction flows and rules.- Knowledge of mandatory requirements (LACPI, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX).- Experience using Analysis and Certification tools and interpreting logs.- Knowledge of ISO 8583 standard for banking transactions.- Experience developing software for POS devices.- Knowledge of Android and Kotlin.- Knowledge of git.- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.- Strong desire to learn and grow.In Clip, we are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
