We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Analyst III to join our team. As a Network Analyst III you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's complex network infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our network operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Network Implementation and Configuration**: Deploy and configure network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Ensure proper configuration and optimization of network protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS.
- **Network Security**: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the organization's network infrastructure from unauthorized access, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities. This includes firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention systems, access control lists, and security policy enforcement.
- **Network Monitoring and Performance Optimization**: Monitor network performance, analyze network traffic patterns, and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal performance and availability. Implement proactive measures to identify and resolve potential network bottlenecks or performance degradation.
- **Network Troubleshooting and Incident Response**: Investigate and resolve complex network-related issues, including connectivity problems, packet loss, latency issues, and network outages. Develop and maintain troubleshooting procedures and documentation for network operations.
- **Network Design and Architecture**: Design, plan, and implement highly available and scalable network solutions to meet the organization's business needs. This includes designing network topology, selecting appropriate hardware and software, and evaluating emerging technologies.
- **Change Management and Documentation**: Implement changes to the network infrastructure following established change management processes. Document network configurations, procedures, and policies to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- **Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, security analysts to support integrated solutions and resolve complex technical issues. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or network administration roles, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level networks.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA are highly desirable.
- Expertise in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, WiFi and SD-WAN.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Meraki, F5
- Working knowledge of network security principles and best practices, including firewall technologies, IDS/IPS, encryption protocols, and access control mechanisms.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as PRTG, WhatsUP Gold and Wireshark.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
