Job Description:
Main responsibilities of the position:
Lead key activities on materials management department to assure new projects and assembly line transfer implementations.
Responsible for data integrity and alignment within MRP for new projects and assembly line transfers.
Build schedule, BOM accuracy prior starting programs, supplier to part # relationship, BPA accuracy
Primary contact to Program Managers, Sourcing, Design.
Control of componentes for initial builts prior star of prodcution.
Provides analysis on build rate increases or decreases.
Coordinates changes in build plans to Materials and other departments.
Coordinates with suppliers as an escalation point for Buyers and Materials Analysts as it relates to schedule
Distributes forecast and schedule to suppliers for new business integrations.
Answers questions for internal parties as it relates to business volume.
Main job-specific requirements / skills:
- Coordinate with Program Managers key activitiies related to Materials department prior star of prodiction.
- Coordinate with Desing and Manufacturing engineers key activities to assure an efficient project implementation with no delays, risks or errors.
- Coordinate with Sourcing team to set everything up with the supplier for new business, including initial supplier releases.
- Strong analytical and statistics experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with MRP structure and functionality.
- Proven inventory distribution and product flow knowledge.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Optional:
- Access and SQL experience a plus.
- Organized and capable of dealing with high volume of interactions with a broad cross-section of the company.
- Able to effectively prioritize multiple priorities.
