About the role:
The **Operational Excellence** **Intern** supports LAO SC (Mexico, Colombia & Chile) and Mexico Branch, in production of metrics, project follow-ups for MX, CO & CL, that helps in the monitoring and status visibility, as well as administration of project documentation in the official repository and ensure information displayed are up to date. Operational Excellence intern will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge about the key aspects and framework for leadership and projects management.
We are looking for an intern with strong ability of organization, managing and reporting, as well as thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
**Location: Monterrey, NL**
Time Availability: 4-5 hours daily.
What you need:
- Active student of bachelor related to Engineering fields. With at least 12 months prior to graduation day.
- Ability to manage reporting.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and organization skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt and/or Green Belt (optional)
- Oral and written proficiency in the following: Spanish and English.
What you will be doing:
- Assistance on managing and follow up key milestones in Problem Solving projects for MX Branch and LAO SC.
- Assistance on managing process documentations data for LAO SC & Mexico, following GM Financial methodology (BPMS).
- Support on projects documentation and ensure clean-up/update of the repository.
- Support in the update of OpEx materials to ensure that templates and dashboards displayed are up to date.
- Aid in populate intake requests for new projects and provide administrative support in carrying out those new requests for approval.
- Review of risk, issues and mitigation plans with OpEx Manager.
