An advanced software-as-a-service for improved fleet management with real-time Google Maps(tm) view of asset location and data, reporting, maintenance, and a variety of fleet management features.**Position Overview**As an **Operations and Procurement Manager **Global Fleet Management, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of materials, services, and equipment through the organization, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Your bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish will be instrumental in liaising with suppliers and stakeholders across borders, particularly in Mexico. Your deep understanding of Mexican customs and business protocols will help in fostering robust supplier relationships and ensuring smooth operational workflows.**Key Responsibilities**- Strategic Sourcing and Procurement:_- Strategize to discover cost-effective deals and reliable suppliers to facilitate operational and procurement processes.- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including spend analytics, market analysis, demand analysis, and negotiation of contracts.- Oversee the entire procurement process from initiating bids to approving invoices, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and delivery timelines.- Supplier Relationship Management:_- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts to ensure quality standards and timely delivery.- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.- Budget Management and Cost Control:_- Develop budgets and monitor expenditures throughout the procurement cycle, promoting a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.- Inventory Management:_- Establish and oversee inventory control procedures to ensure availability and optimal stock levels.- Work closely with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and manage inventory accordingly.- Team Collaboration and Coordination:_- Collaborate with internal teams to understand material requirements for projects and ensure timely procurement.- Coordinate with third-party contractors for specialized services as required.- Continuous Improvement:_- Develop new methods for improving efficiency in procurement processes, staying abreast of current industry trends and best practices.**Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and operations management, with at least 2 years of experience working with custom in Mexico.- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a must
