Job Description Responsible for coordination, planning, monitoring and engineering development of the packaging department tasks (daily packaging management operations, inventory tracking, container management, cleaning supplier management budget and forecasting).
Leads the development of the team to increase their skills and capabilities by empowering members to achieve their potential.
Continuously work with cross functional teams, within and outside the plant, to align strategies and improve packaging process and design.
Promote and stablish cost improvement projects based on packaging engineering and designing development.
Reports directly to manager of the area.
Coordination of the packaging team by leading and developing associates Ensure standardization & correct execution of all packaging related processes Management and development of Logistics Service Providers (LSP) ? Cleaning supplier KPI generation, monitoring and reporting packaging topics Active involvement on purchasing tenders for suppliers together with Purchasing Responsible for creation, analysis, monitoring and reporting of the packaging budget and forecasting based on cost and volumes.
Ensure correct execution of processes to comply with central directives Develop, lead and implement packaging projects for cost savings and process improvements.

Understanding and usage of problem-solving tools to generate adequate solutions Definition and implementation of automation of packaging processes together with support departments Participate and support quality and environmental policies and plant goals.
Ensure correct usage of packaging management systems: PackIT, PaGOS, SAP, CMS & EMS Qualifications General packaging and design processes knowledge - Intermediate Warehouse processes knowledge – Intermediate SAP Logistics transactions knowledge - Intermediate Finished Goods and/or raw material planning processes knowledge - Preferred Budget & forecast development and tracking knowledge/skills – Intermediate Microsoft office skills - Advanced Disposition to work in Juarez Area 95% and visit to ELP Warehouse 5% Learning and adaptability skills Result oriented Analytic skills Ability to see the big picture – Future orientation Negotiation Skills Communication skills Problem Solving techniques abilities High sense of urgency Customer service orientation Coaching skills English spoken and writing: Advanced level Bachelors degree in Engineering o related.
