**Profile**
Ensures that supplying companies systems, processes and build capabilities meet the design intent of the customer and are compliant with the end customer's needs.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor of Science.
- Minimum of 85% English (oral, verbal and written).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Electronics manufacturing.
- Experience to contribute to the pre-development of new technologies & products for future programs.
- Leadership during 8D investigations of major problems and or special projects focusing on developing working relationships with suppliers and the supply chain with regard to product development and procurement of parts
- Assist with achieving flawless product development for a successful Safe Launch of new programs.
- Manage supplier APQP for new product launch.
- Ensure that Changes (design and 4M) are successfully implemented as planned in the production phase.
- Foster supplier's capabilities through level-up activities.
- Track the supplier's performance KPIs (incoming PPM) to facilitate and develop the supply base's ability to consistently meet or exceed defined expectations.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to sourcing and development of suppliers with respect to technology, performance, quality, cost, logistics and delivery
- Drive cost effective improvements, minimize waste
- Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to meet product, cost, quality, capacity and fulfillment ensuring suppliers are able to meet requirements for performance, quality, cost and delivery of components.
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of APQP process, PPAP and other AIAG / Customer specific requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Electronics manufacturing and IPC standards.
- Strong negotiation skills resulting in delivered cost reductions.
- Strong analytical experience and data modeling using Excel.
- Program Purchasing and/or Program Management experience a plus.
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects and assignments simultaneously.
- High sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work product is critical.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.
