Essential Functions- Maintain the MRP Item planning set up for a given item (Safety Time, Safety stock, Order multiple, Minimum order, order policy, book code )- Audit the item planning setup to ensure setup is consistent with the float rules and items are assigned to the correct book code- Maintain the set up on item level on the scheduled PO- Browse for most important fields on the supplier PO and ensure setup is consistent- Browse for the MRP% and ensure setup is consistent- Validate that MRP run properly- Review MRP messages allows to determine and resolve issues related to past due discrete PO or Purchase requirements change- Review MRP messages allows to determine and resolve issues related to past due discrete PO or Purchase requisitions- A daily follow up has to be performed to determine and track precisely the critical components list based on DOS (Days Of Supply)- Check material In-transit through ASNs- physical check of critical components stock- Support supply continuity and S3C with accurate information to manage escalations and global allocation- Team with production planners to evenly split critical components and avoid short shipping to customers- Find available inventory in other Visteon plants or an alternative source (distribution) or an alternative component (TC, Engineering) when designated supplier has delivery issues- Alert receiving dock to expedite receipt processing of critical components- Create / update AETC with accurate reason code- PP part status shall be reviewed and request raised to MDS whenever an update is required Supplier report card- Review and approve / cancel Open On Time Delivery incidents Supplier report card shall be activated for each new supplier- OTD and ASN metrics: Cum disagree Timeliness Inventory Management- DOH excess inventory review- Obsolete risk assessment (no movers, BOH / no demand)- Obsolete inventory disposal Additional Functions- Start up meeting- Weekly scheduling meetings- Department meetings- Monthly inventory meetings
