This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a leading global professional services organization whilst being instrumental in the growth of the People Consulting team.Your key responsibilities:Leverage experience in payroll domain to deliver HR and Payroll transformation projects for global clients, in collaboration with other GDS teams and other EY member firms.Work on global client projects as part of a global distributed team. Ensure quality of all work outputs, timeliness, and accuracy of content.Provide domain expertise across multiple Payroll service areas such as Payroll Inputs, Gross to Net processing, Payroll remittances, Garnishments, Workforce management, etc.Be recognized as a subject matter expert in one or more areas in the Payroll domain.Support the development of thought leadership, collateral, tools, techniques, methodologies to enhance payroll advisory and broader capability offering within the practice.Drive effective client communication and build relations with client and project team counterparts across global locations.Skills and attributes for success:High integrity and commitment to work in a new and challenging environment.Ability to manage ambiguity and be proactive.Strong communication and presentation skills.Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.High energy levels, agility, and adaptability.Open to travel nationally and internationally for client projects that are approved as per EY and country-specific travel advisory guidelines.To qualify for the role, you must have:6 - 9 years of experience in Payroll operations and consulting domain.Minimum 2 years of experience in global payroll advisory.Master's degree in Finance/HR or full-time MBA.Experience in delivering payroll implementation and transformation programs, as part of a global distributed team.Experience of working in a consulting environment.Strong understanding of one or more payroll technology systems – ADP, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.Ideally, you'll also have:Expertise in strong technical knowledge of end-to-end payroll process.Analytical abilities and knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Expertise in process mapping and documentation using Visio and other tools.Expertise in creating SOP, process documentation, and work instructions.Actively involved in end-to-end Payroll implementation and transformation programs.Exposure to workforce transformation programs enabled by technology
