**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Payroll & Inventory Accounting Specialist to join our team in our Guadalajara office.
Working in a small team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, the Payroll & Inventory Accounting Specialist will have constant interaction with the Finance/ Accounting team, HR, Procurement/ Supply Chain team and external auditors.
In this role you will be responsible for managing the payroll process working with an external payroll provider and supporting all the payroll related payments and external payment vendors.
In addition you will lead our México Inventory accounting processes, month/ year-end close and annual audit activities, managing monthly and annual reporting of Inventory and assisting in financial statements, working with Procurement/ Supply Chain members and internal/ external auditors.
**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:

- ** Payroll**:

- Responsible for managing payroll processes in collaboration with an external payroll provider.
This includes handling multi-state payroll administration, managing Pluxee (restaurant, gasoline and food vouchers), saving funds & box, payroll discounts, and overseeing intern payments.
- The role ensures compliance with applicable regulations, maintains accurate payroll records, and provides support to employees regarding payroll-related matters.
- Coordinate payroll operations with the external payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, collaborating with the HR Team (Changes, including new hires, terminations, bonuses, payroll discounts and special payments.)
- Act as the main liaison between the company and the payroll vendor to resolve issues and ensure compliance with service-level agreements.
- Administer Pluxee vouchers including calculation and reconciliation (meal vouchers and food vouchers) in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
(on & off boarding employees processes, biweekly payments)
- Manage the payroll process for interns in accordance with local labor laws and internal policies.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all payroll payments.
- Generate payroll reports for internal stakeholders, including Finance and HR.
- Administrating Multiva and Odessa payments (Saving & box funds); Keeping the platform updated on time; and coordinating the payments along with finances.
- Initiate payroll-related transactions in the banking platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless data flow between HR and payroll systems.
- **Inventory Accounting**:

- Record inventory related transactions (as applicable) and maintain inventory ledgers
- Perform periodic audits and analysis of inventory reports.
- Ensuring accurate inventory valuations and performing inventory cost analysis
- Prepare and maintain reconciliations for inventory accounts
- Analyzing and identifying inventory discrepancies and resolving issues
- Collaborate with purchasing/ supply chain/ operations departments to manage inventory needs
- Assist in the development of inventory control procedures and best practices
- Provide input for monthly and annual financial reports
- Comply with internal controls, and participate in audits as needed
- Perform projects and other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager in a timely and complete manner

**WHAT WE WANT TO SEE**:

- 4+ years of experience in payroll administration, including multi-state payroll.
- Experience working with external payroll vendors
- Familiarity with voucher administration programs like Pluxee.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and payroll reporting tools.
- 3+ years of audit, technical accounting and/or financial reporting work experience
- Tech startup or manufacturing industry experience
- Proven ability to develop new ideas, process improvement and creative solutions
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams; strong customer focus - both Internal/External
