**Buyer customer service**:The Buyer/ Customer Service, will be responsible for executing the supply chain management and inventory strategies that support and meet the Company's strategy, Company performance objectives, customer expectations and weekly/monthly and annual sales plans in each key sales stream channel. Responsibilities include planning inventory flow, analyzing statistical data in multiple products, and generating forecasting solutions for each distribution channel. This position tacticly reports directly to the Supply Chain Director**Responsibilities**:- Develop effective forecast models based on product trends and demand patterns to optimize inventory levels and maintain high fill rates in all sales channels- Review MRP report to determine final ordering quantities with strategic supply and demand planning mechanism and also based on overall sales demand including NPI, promotions, special project following monthly/quarterly demand trend and seasonality- Experience participating in effective S&OP processes with marketing, sales, customer service, product management, finance, and operations teams- Coordinate with channel managers, and product teams to set order quantities of new/existing products and to ensure smooth product transitions- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to Buyers, planners and management- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.- Execute root cause analysis of stock outs, Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory, and propose improvement plans to minimize inventory exposure for each distribution channel- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy- Experience managing logistics and inventory levels required for vendor and supplier programs- Participation in planning and executing both short-term and long-term strategies to prepare for company's continued growth and successExperience managing VMI planning- Other duties as assigned**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree.Supply Chain minimum of 3-5 years' experience in demand planning/forecasting role- English- Advanced level- Experience working with demand planning and forecasting- Experience working with ERP/MRP- Advanced knowledge of Excel- Advanced experience in data analysis and forecasting- Preferred VMI experience- Detail oriented and a bias for action- Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize critical and time -sensitive priorities- Strong analytical, planning, organization and communication skills- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
