Plant Cost Accountant

Job Description Plant Cost Accountant Objective: The Plant Cost Accountant is responsible for ensuring effective financial planning and monitoring of expenses within the manufacturing plant.
Essential Functions: Collect and maintain comprehensive cost information within an expense database.
Analyze and determine fixed costs.
Prepare budgeting reports for the company and each department to facilitate financial planning.
Develop and present monthly, quarterly, and annual cost forecasts.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience in a multicultural work environment is desirable.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).
Experience: Continuous improvement in accounting practices and methodologies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Familiarity with Oracle ERP and SAP, advanced Excel skills, Plant operations cost management.
