As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading a high performing team and optimizing business objectives comprising of meeting and exceeding customer expectations, profit plan, business growth, safety, delivery of products that meet quality and cost standards, delivery, productivity, team member engagement, manager effectiveness, culture, and organizational capability.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensuring the safety and well being of all plant personnel through Safety Best Practice teams and individual leadership at the plant levelDevelop and execute the plants Annual Operating Plan. Responsible for all aspects of the plant that impact the monthly plant operational and financial performanceDevelops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, production costs, etc.Provides input to the development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging productsEstablishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products orderedProvides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needsDrive CI (Motus Business System) from top-down to achieve fiscal year commitmentsApply 80/20 methodology to drive high performanceUtilize 8D and other problem-solving tools to eliminate root causesDrive execution of strategic plans and priorities throughout the fiscal yearFrequent structured updates communicated to cross-functional team members and executive staffLive the companies values, the 5 Ps:People First: Safety is the FoundationPersonal IntegrityPerformance ExcellencePassion: Focus on Quality and Continuous Improvement (CI)Partnership: Customers, Suppliers, Team Members and CommunitiesLead with the 4Es (Energy, Energize, Edge & Execution)Top-grade: hire, coach and mentor a high performing team with succession planningREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related; MBA preferred10+ years as an operations leader in manufacturing who has demonstrated successful leadership5+ years of maintaining a culture of safetyThorough understanding of lean and six sigma principles and applicationsProven experience in headliners and overhead systems, door and console armrests, instrument panel trim components, and fiber solutionsKnowledge of the automotive interior products industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
