The Plant Manager is responsible for general supervision of all phases of the Plants Operations including: Production, cost reduction, safety, quality control, maintenance, receiving, and shipping.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION**:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Industrial Technology, or Engineering
- 6+ years in manufacturing leadership roles.
- Bilingual
**EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDES**:
- Experience in the harness sector (Essential)
- Experience of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices
- Experience implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as; Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.
to drive improvement
- Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB AUTHORITY**:
- Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operations.
- Establish and direct Plants Policies & Procedures.
- Direct & coordinate plants operations within Company Policies & Procedures.
- Monitor plants performance on an ongoing basis and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Work closely with quality personnel to review product consistency while monitoring scrap rates to determine trends and areas of improvement.
- Review established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to insure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible
- Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
- Work closely with the Environmental Health and Safety Responsible to ensure all members of the manufacturing team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for our employees.
- Maintain Inventory levels and control flow of product from operation.
- Develop and execute the plants manufacturing budgets.
- Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.

5S System, Kanban System, Zero Defects Strategy, etc.)
- Accomplish objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
- Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity.
