Primary Years Teacher

_**Qualifications**:_Bachelor's or Master's degree related to Education.- **Schedule**:_Monday to Friday 7:20 am -3:00 pm.- **General Summary**_To carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the school's policies under the direction of the Coordination. A primary school class teacher is an informed, reflective practitioner who uses inquiry based strategies to create positive learning environments, which motivate and challenge all learners in their class to become self-regulated, life-long learners and leaders.- **Responsibilities**_- Do annual, bimestrial and biweekly planning of the academic areas that you teach, including supporting areas such as, moral values, art, physical educations, etc, individually or collaborative.- Plan and hand in electronically, objectives, UBD planners, learning experiences and bimonthly exams (in the do date given by coordination), to keep every day active in the classroom and optimize the work that other teachers do when they collaborate in the classroom.- Follow the school's program and do everything possible to finish it successfully. If any changes are required you need to inform your Coordinator.- Devote, daily time to research work and / or work in centers, both linked to the constructivist philosophy.- Work books according to the program established at the beginning of the school year and inform coordination of any change in the programming.- Give classes in the assigned schedule to avoid taking time from other teachers.- Contribute to the development, design, adaptation and / or translation of didactic and educational materials relevant to your programming.- Attend to meetings with parents as the school indicates.- Keep a record of all interviews you have with parents and deliver a report to coordination.
