The RoleWe are looking for a Principal Oracle Developer to perform and oversee development on the Oracle E-Business suite. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle's e-Business Suite and associated technologies including expertise in PL/SQL, forms development, and java customizations. The candidate will play a critical role in digital transformation, acquisition integrations, and eventually our move to Oracle Cloud.
Your ImpactLead development efforts for all major projects and enhancements.Partner with the business and analysts to prioritize deliverables and ensure solutions meet the business needs.Implement and maintain development and documentation standards.Perform code reviews to ensure both standards and security requirements are met.Identify user experience and performance improvements and partner with analysts and the business to implement them.Deliver development tasks and oversee contract development work both on and offshore.Support, analyze, and resolve critical production application issues as required.What You'll NeedBachelor's degree or equivalent business experience required.8+ years of Oracle E-Business development experience required (preferably r12) and Oracle Cloud experience is a plus.Proficient in PL/SQL, forms, and java development.Experience with code optimization and performance tuning.Understanding functional business processes is a plus.Experience with data conversion, integrations, upgrades and reporting.Ability to work under pressure and meet continually changing timelines.Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodology is a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills.About UsIf you're looking to make a difference every day and push the limits of performance, AspenTech is doing things no one else thought was possible.
