**Job Description** GENERAL DESCRIPTION**
- Leader of process/test engineering and technician groups.
- Leader of definition and follow-up of competence development strategies for process/test engineering and technician groups.
- Main owner / promoter of business metrics focused on safety, cost, quality, and delivery.
**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- ** Responsible to define, coach, and sponsor problem solving and continuous improvement projects based on regular analysis of TOP contributors to ensure the compliance of the business metrics.**:
- Responsible to establish a systematic approach for the follow-up of day-to-day topics related to the main business metrics.
- Hiring, coaching, and mentoring to personnel (Engineers/Technicians).
- Technical and human resources planning.
- ** Owner or co-owner of the maintenance strategy within the assigned areas, including machines, tooling, racks/carts, spare parts, and SW back-ups.**:
- Provide support to process/test engineering and technician groups to eliminate roadblocks and to ensure the availability of the necessary internal and/or external support that may be needed.
- ** Leader of the definition, procurement, installation, and validation of new machinery and tooling.**:
- Act and serve as a technical resource for process/test engineering and technician groups.
- Responsible to build up and ensure the necessary networking for the activities performed by own team.
- Responsible to coordinate technical topics within the international production network of assigned areas.
- Owner of implementation of Bosch standards among the technical areas.
- Ensure the follow-up of Bosch standards among engineering group.
- Ensure that procedures and instructions are followed.
- ** Ensure manufacturing process compliance with engineering principles, customer requirements, Bosch standards, and process specifications.**
**Qualifications** EDUCATION & ACADEMIC BACKGROUND**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Digital Systems and Communications Engineering or related.
- Postgraduate degree Preferred.
- Bilingual (Advanced English & Spanish).
**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- ** 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Process Engineering positions.**:
- Deep Knowledge in Core tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
- Leadership skills: Empowerment, ability to work in a diverse group, ability to create team structures and to coach/mentor/sponsor, ability to delegate, proactive, analytic.
- Uncertainty risk, and complexity management.
- Effective moderation, communication, negotiation skills: contact with suppliers/customers, partners, and subordinates.
- Knowledge in project management tools.
- Strong knowledge in control and automation (e.g. PLC programming, robots).
- Strong knowledge in problem solving techniques, such as: 8D, IS/IS NOT, 5 Whys with focus on managerial aspects, 6 Sigma/Shainin.
- Strong knowledge in TPM.
- Knowledge in budget planning and administration.
- ** Strong knowledge in some (if not all) of the following processes: Electrical testing (e.g. ICT), functional testing (CCS technologies), vision systems, press-in, dispensing, laser welding.**:
- ** Strong experience in analyzing data to draw trends (focused on statistics).**:
- Knowledge in mechanical design (GD&T desired).
- Experience in traceability systems.
- Experience in new launches (especially focused on technical topics related to process and product).
- In-depth knowledge of internal/external business processes and procedures (especially in automotive electronics field).
- Experience in manufacturing: Bosch production system or equivalent.
