Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: The Procurement Manager – LATAM Marketing & Sales will be responsible for creating and driving Marketing and Sales Procurement related activity across Latin America, with ~$50MM spend responsibility. Working closely with the Marketing & Sales Procurement Associate Director, as well as the rest of Procurement Category Managers, you will be designing and implementing new sourcing strategies and capabilities, performing contract audits and spend analysis, leveraging data and analytics to assess ROI of marketing budget, conducting competitive bidding and RFP processes, negotiations of commercial agreements, implementing vendor and stakeholder management, delivering continuous savings as well as performance and process improvement to deliver value and growth. You will work to ensure transparency and governance of procurement processes and corporate policies, sharing findings and enabling new best practices. We are looking for an experienced Marketing and Sales Procurement leader who can communicate the value of Procurement to internal stakeholders across functions. In this role, you will routinely advise senior stakeholders internally on new procurement strategies that create lasting return on investment. The successful candidate will work directly with our leadership in Marketing, Sales, Legal, and other areas to implement new approaches, bringing a track record of successful deployment of category management in the Marketing & Sales space. We are looking for a hands-on, data-driven talent with a focus on speed and agility. In this role, you will: Drive Category Management and Procurement activities in Marketing and Sales across Latin America, with ~$50MM spend responsibility.Develop and implement Procurement Strategies to unlock opportunities across the category aligned with the company's goals.Conduct competitive bidding and RFP processes, negotiations of commercial agreements, implementing SRM program, whilst delivering continuous savings, performance and process improvement, and cashflow targets.Develop robust and strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to established agreements, effective communication, collaboration and business alignment. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks related to the products and services the marketing and sales organization requires.Perform an internal audit of the spend under management, identifying all contracts not in compliance, build a plan to ensure alignment to the corporate policies. Work to ensure transparency and governance of procurement processes, sharing findings and enabling new best practices. What we look for: Years and Type of Experience: 5+ years business experience in any of the following: Procurement, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Business Development, leading marketing and/or sales projects, working with suppliers/vendors/external partners, developing contracts, effectively negotiating agreements, developing and implementing category strategies, developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with proven record of delivering positive financial results. Skills and Abilities: Understanding of Marketing Procurement arena. Knowledge of Sales and Marketing contract terms.Strong negotiation skills. Ability to interface effectively across all levels of the organization, with ability to influence without explicit authority.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to articulate complex business situations clearly and articulately.Planning and organization skills—Ability to establish work plans, multi-task and prioritize simultaneous projects. Education Level/Degree: B.A. or B.S. Degree in related disciplines (Supply Chain, Business, Marketing, Engineering, Finance) or equivalent working experience.
