He or she will work with the Monterrey plant and our external suppliers to generate new ideas for new and existing product lines, or support the plant for process optimization to improve production efficiency. The engineer will be responsible for creating the 3D and 2D CAD drawing for new designs, and work closely with the NPD, Manufacturing, Quality and Sourcing teams to address any design relative issues during a project implementation. This person will also support product improvement activities through ECN process and cost improvement activities.ResponsabilidadesThis individual will primarily be responsible for NPD from concept to engineering detail for final product specifications. Requires extensive cross-functional and cross-site coordination (including international).Requisitos- Skills:Develop new fitting products, create 3D and 2D data in PTC Creo.Defining critical process/product parameters and test plan for new designs.Perform design review activities with cross-functional teams, including DFMEA deployment and rapid prototyping creation.Analyze and propose product improvement ideas through ECR/ECN process in the engineering data management system (Windchill) and present the ECR/ECN in the board review meeting.Follow up the execution of new ideas generated for existing products to ensure correct and timely implementation.Work together with manufacturing to provide support and solutions to daily problems that may occur during the implementation process.Review supplier specifications and validate company specifications. If required, approve or reject supplier specifications either graphic or structural.- Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field
