Partnering with the Product Development teams in headquarters and Mexico operation the position oversees sample development tracking as well as initial order placements and material testing for all developed products. This person should be fluent in English and Spanish in order to provide effective communication of the business needs.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and supervise sample development.Provide clear communication and feedback between factories and product development teams, especially where English/Spanish language barriers exist.Work with the factories and provide the target timing to hit requested delivery dates.Manage the commercialization process including technical review, customs classification system & fitting review prior to pre-production.Ensure proper packaging and product labels following Gymreapers guidelines.Manage physical & chemical testing (RSL) with the factories through third-party labs to comply with Gymreapers standards.Understand U.S and Latin American duty systems to ensure new developments are compliant.Review finesse assessment from the development team to address corrections and improvements needed.Keep updated sourcing roster to provide clarity of options to source new products.Partner with the Product Creation team to ensure new developments are aligned with factory capabilities and capacities.Update the product tracker to show sample status, costing, MOQ throughout the development/reorder process.Build a Materials Library to support the Product Team in the creation of new, innovative materials and products.Establish sizing and fit standards and ensure pattern grading to meet the needs of Gymreapers customers.Support our product development team in various tasks.What You'll Bring:A 4-year degree is preferred.At minimum, 2 years of factory work experience with strong multi-tasking capabilities.Prior experience working for apparel and/or sports equipment companies preferred.Fluent in written & spoken English & Spanish.Effective understanding of cultural diversity & good intercultural communication.Highly organized and a good communicator.Proactive and self-motivated.Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.Effective prioritizing and time management skills.Gymreapers LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
